First time post. Awesome forum!!!
Need some help !!! Purchased a 2020 Trackhawk in Feb of this year. It currently has about 6k miles on it. Purchased it with 4 miles on it. In July service engine code popped P050B. Took it to the dealership, they said they re-flashed and cleared the code. About 2 weeks later, same code. Second time at the dealership. Dealership states that they checked the battery and it had low voltage so they replaced the battery. About 2 weeks later, code returns. Third time at the dealership. Dealership states that they checked fuel and performed an electrostatic discharge. Fuel checked good. About 2 weeks later, same code. Notified the dealership and needless to say, very upset at this point. Took it in for a fourth time and dealership opened a star case. Whatever that is. FCA recommended replace the PCM. PCM was placed on order and installed about 10 days later. 3 miles down the road and light pops on. A different code. Something to do with brake sensor calibration. Left overnight again and they state that they tested the PCM and everything checked good. Drove the trackhawk these last 10 days. Everything was perfect until Sunday morning. Raised the garage door, started the TH, pulled out of the garage, I hear a chime, looked at the instrument cluster and there it is. Scroll to the diagnostic code screen and right in the face --P 0 5 0 B !!!!!! Was freaking pissed. Parked it back in the garage. Dropped of the TH at the dealership this morning and stated that they needed to speak with the FCA advisor. I mentioned throttle body issues with Hellcat challengers and chargers. This is so much BS that anyone has to deal with this. Paid a pretty penny for a performance vehicle and cannot drive it like it is supposed to be driven. Since July, every time the service light came on the TH stayed in the garage. I didn't pay for the TH to stay parked.
Has anyone experienced this issue (P050B)? Issue with dealership not knowing how the hell to fix codes? I even looked up dang lemon law for Texas. What do you guys think and recommend?
