Yes. He has the T400 waiting on getting back to the shop with the rear end in it and have the driveshaft made. The motor has a KB 4.9 on it at this time but we’re talking TT due to it having a drive line that is set to take it. He’s going to kick my a$$. 😂

Took the long drive to Calif and back yesterday to be there to consult on the cage and Drag Pak install on one of the other shop cars. Holy Schmoly this MPR Drag Pak stuff is metal porn. Not sure yet on the weight savings with this over what it will be replacing (the entire cradle and everything attached to it) but it’s gotta be 200 lbs.

So... on the build front! Nothing going on with my car ☹️ But.... lots of news on what’s going on around me. I know this stuff is only of interest to the few racers here so consider my build section as a news letter of sorts. The shop just scored a Hellephant! Full crate showing up in October. Plans are to put it in the brand new Widebody Charger that will represent the shop on the street and the track. It will get the full e85 race build so it will be a formidable piece. Especially on the half mile. 😳. Next.... one of my Utah friends has been building his B5 Redeye to be a full on drag car. It has the Strange 4-link rear and is just about ready to roll out of the shop. But hold everything!! Looks like he’s going to be selling it because.... he got a call yesterday morning from SRT. His name has been on the top secret list for over a year now and he had given up on it. Out of the blue..... your 2020 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak will be finished by years end. Do you still want it? 🤯.

I think it's a waste to put a hellephant in a charger . The hellephant screams demon for sure .

Doing that with the Hellephant is all about shop advertising. For a individual to do that would be stupid, but the ‘only one in the world’ status for shop hype is marketing. Dodge Garage and the Mopar Performance world will eat that up. Specially when he runs 190+ in the half mile.

Yep. That’s what’s cool about it. Face it.... the whole Hellephant thing is just a bunch of hype. My 426 would blow the valve covers off one of those things and cost less. After all the press, he can always remove it and sell it. Other than AJ’s that he put in his Demon, I haven’t seen another one actually running. The only other one I’ve seen went into that stupid SEMA build and didn’t even run. At least this one will be running wild on the street and at the track.

The big news for me is that we’re going to see and be involved with a new Drag Pak. There was question whether they would even end up getting built and now they are!

Yeah. The new one is going to be a whole other thing. I think the chassis is going to be 6.5 cert. should be a high seven car right out of the box. Can’t wait!!

Ok back to that Strange 4-link setup we’re doing. It’s narrower than the stock rear so it requires a new wheel back space. How do you like the looks of this? 🤩
