My car squeaks and makes thumping noises at slow speeds from the front end and I am going to start replacing parts to eliminate the noise. I am not sure the end links are the issue but a few guys I work with have mentioned they believe its the end links or struts and end links are the cheapest part to replace. I am keeping the car stock for a while but will hopefully be able to go full AAD suspension in the next six months or a year if I decide to keep the car. I work too many hours and haven't really looked hard for the cause of the noise but figured the end links would be a quick fix for now and cradle lockout soon for the rear.

I might possibly buy 17 or 18 inch wheels for the rear for drag racing

I have look a HHP and whiteline websites along with the local parts box stores. Whiteline is the sway bars I have been leaning towards so I thought their bars might work well but want others opinions. If I already had the AAD suspension I would buy their end links

I would try lubing everything 1st while you inspect it.

what would you use to lube the suspension bushings? The endlinks will most likely get replace soon because of the thumping noise at slow speeds which doesn't happen with the suspension in set in track and is lighter in sport mode. I really hope its not the struts because thats a lot of money to spend at the moment and I know the suspension works in different modes but possibly not like when new

There is special lube available for rubber parts. Anything petroleum based tends to not play well with rubber.

So I had taken off my front bar for the track and put it back on a few times. One day I had a strange noise in the front. I must not had tightened the bolt enough and it was loose. I would start checking that everything is tight

I took the bar off this year and just left it off. I don't even notice it isn't there

My front clunking or noise was from the front sway bars end links…the rubber was shot. Replaced them with the AAD end links and it solved the noise issue. AAD makes some amazing parts.

If I wasn't planning on doing autocross with my cousins who have their own cars I would remove it and leave it off.

Well I went the cheap route for now and picked up some Moog end links for the time being. Who knows they might be on the car for a long time. Hopefully I get a day off this weekend and will install them then

Well I changed out the end links and still have the squeaking and thumping noise at low speeds. I believe the next step will be sway bar bushings for the front which looks worn. I can see some scuff marks on the driver side sway bar also which I am not sure about.

Can you put it up on a lift and go through the front end?
I had the whole car on jack stands earlier and my buddy and I looked at everything we could visually see. We didn't any grease on the existing bushings but the one worn part I seen was the sway bar bushing.

Is the factory front bar 30mm?

My garage is full of someone elses junk at the moment so I went to my buddies house where to do the end links. Its easier there anyway because he has multiple jacks. if the bushing don't work I might go to a shop with a lift

Just replace everything in pairs.

I am hoping its not struts. I replaced front and rear endlinks today and will probably just do the front sway bar bushings next since they looked worn. The car has had a rough life I am sure but I enjoy it when I am not experiencing issues.

I know I am being lazy but whats the diameter of the stock front sway bar? I have searched and possibly incorrectly searched for that information and cannot find it. The local parts stores need the same information to order me some. Even the Mopar parts online catalog lacks that information. I would like to order some

Just pull the sway bar off and go drive it and see if the noise is still there for starters

They should be able to find the correct one by using the model name.

None of the parts stores nearby carry bushings in their stores. They sale other brands through their online store but not in store. I went to Advanced, Autozone and called O'Reillys
