Lack of care or concern over a horrible rental in which 90% of the people couldn’t hook. I don’t care to donate to a worthless cause, I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.

I'm planning on heading to this one but it's at the tail end of a triple header for me. 4 events spread out over 3 weekends. Hopefully I still have a working car when it's time to finish my next adventure at Rockingham.

Was that the organizers or just the track crew not being able to prep properly for the weather? I would want to assume the Rental had the same prep as the event? I wasn't there, only watched what I could on the live feed.

Plus the Rock has a brand new surface laid down! It should be traction city!!

Same crew prepping both days it was the track crew, NMCA had fairly good traction but not what I’m used to in Bradenton.

the rock is owned by dan van horn (co owner) he has more control here, im going to bet that track is going to be tight

This is the farthest I will be traveling so far with the cat. Whats an essential pack out list for being able to manage at the track. For the car I’m thinking jack, two jackstands. Mechanics tool kit. Some ugga duggas and electric ratchets. My pain points are axles and diffs so Ill be bringing spares. Plenty of e85.

On the human side Im thinking a cooler, a tent with sides. Maybe a solar fan.

a TNT isn't worth while if the track is junk. We are starting to run into that at 131. I'm thinking last year had to do with the glue shortage and I don't know if it has improved. They are looking at if you want to show up and make passes come to a tnt where you may hook. If you have a higher powered car and are really looking to tune at the track you need to do a $350 track rental

Like everything it is turning into how much more money can we make. When I moved to Michigan most people didn't like the owner of 131 and most would go to Mid Michigan to run. I did the same even though it was further. The track was sold and redone into a really nice facility around 2004. With a new track and new owners we started to go there. Now almost 20 years later this owner is starting to act like the last and if it keeps up people will go back to Mid Michigan again

Looks like track prep all over sucks.

I watched a little of Street Car Shootout at Bristol last week and it was basically a no-prep event.

6 second cars were running 7s & 8s.
