I started losing on purpose because I was tired. Wanted to go back to the hotel or go home. This is why I had to change things up.

Found a great deal on a new remote UPR catch can on ebay. Only issue the kit was for a Trackhawk. It also had the check valve and knob upgrade. It would mount in the middle of the fuse box instead at the fender. It also has straight fittings instead of 90's coming from the can. There was also an auction for 4 feet of the same hose used on ebay. The hose from the valve cover actually was long enough. I had to add a longer section of hose to the blower. I routed around the washer fluid and went under the black panel covering the brake lines. I also had to buy a bolt and some washers to mount it. I'm in it $160 compared to $300.

The last 2 pics are what the Trackhawk kit looks like installed a Challenger/Charger kit

I’m a serious DIY’er. I tried to do a remote like that on the Challenger but just couldn’t find a good path to route the hoses, so I made a bracket and did the conventional mount. Works well, still tight and secure after 13k mi.

If anyone needs hose, 5/8” fuel line works well.

Got mine out and drove it for the first time in about three weeks. Had to drive across town and back. Took a couple of shots. Still have my best road course tune in it (with the proper gas, just in case). It is running almost perfect, runs very smooth, temps are perfect, even gets decent mileage, the only thing different, the cats are back on it…

Inspecting my LMI intake I noticed the grommet, for the hose thingy, was cracked and no longer rubber... but a crystaline structure.

I ordered a silicone rubber version, from McMaster Carr and will re-install, tomorrow. This is a high temp version, good to 650°F.

Caught it, just before pieces entered the intake stream. If you have one, you might want to inspect the grommet.

McMaster part Number: 1061T148.

If you have it handy, post up the McMaster number
