Seriously. How many quarts are you guys doing for a 2015. I know the pan is identical, only difference is the dipstick. Mine shows full at 6qts. I did do 7 which always shows way over filled. What are you guys doing?
All I can think of is bmason going through the same routine every time he changes his oil with running his car and every time he finds it is 6 quarts but will go through the same routine checking it anyway
They changed to a shorter dipstick in 16-17 so full is 7 after the change. Before 6 shows full. The pan will hold 7 quarts for all the years
7. this was debated ad nauseum at the old place, and my conclusion was Mopar had a period of inaccurate dipsticks (too long), and they quickly revised the part number with a shorter dipstick.
The correct SRT PUP (sorry @Speedy! ) 0W-40 all the way. It is a great oil for the cost, i.e. best value IMO. But not the best oil if cost is no issue.
