I check the trade value on my Redeye about once a month on KBB at the value has fallen about $8K in the last 3 months.

Interest rates are kicking people in the nuts

Housing is finally coming down too
In 1-2 years I ll have my eyes open for all the poor people that maxed out their mortgage payments 3-4 years ago at record low lending rates

Well, a pretty nice Go Mango 2018 Demon went for $107K on BAT today, so something's going on. They'd been fetching $130-$140K.

I spend way to much time there to follow prices and have bought and sold a few cars on that site. That one went for exactly the range I thought given the economy and all the modifications it had, typically I would steer away from the mod cars but that one was well done an even better the seller had all removed parts including the crate. Would have been a bidder had I not found this Mr Norm car there a few months back, absolutely love it until I find a OG Demon.........

That's more like it, not sure if you saw the image I posted from one yesterday, but it's in post 48 of this thread. I'm guessing interest rates and financing issues are finally catching up to folks over paying.

I don’t know though, I’m catching up on Mecum and if people are paying $35k for nice ‘07s like this, I can’t imagine nice low mile Hellcats and Redeyes…etc ever going much below MSRP in the future. They really are special, young people love and revere them too, they are YouTube/rapper famous. I coach wresting at a local high school and there are always kids up on my redeye in the parking lot. They always want to ask about it, race it, hear it, watch me do a burnout. Given lots of rides and infected many young minds with the brotherhood of muscle I always tell the wrestlers if they win a state title I will let them drive it. Been quite a few believe it or not and it’s been a great motivating factor, they talk about it!

Much like the regular hellcat versus the redeye, aren't there a lot of engine internals that are borderline exotic and also exclusive upgraded drivetrain parts? These really are sweet, wish more obtainable...

Funny everyone out showing off on ET Street Rs, my redeye is a completely different car when I drive around with them on, wish I could more but they simply disappear and tire prices are so high. That's another reality check coming to all these new owners
