Allen Johnson will step away from racing in the Factory X class.
Geoff Turk made the announcement that Allen Johnson has stepped away from driving the famous Blackbird X, leaving the seat open. Turk reached out to Alex Laughlin about joining the team for the upcoming season as he accepted the invitation.

Now, he will get the experience in the Factory X class in one of the most popular cars of the class.
Last year, the Dodge Challenger was able to break into the 200 mph club with an outstanding elapse time of 7.04 at 202.55. Off the record, the car has gone 6.97 during a testing session.
Turk is now looking for marketing partners to join their program this year.
As of now, the team will continue to their development partnership with BES Racing Engines in both Factory X and Factory Showdown classes. Turk has also mentioned adding a second to the team.
The Factory X class season will start in April in Las Vegas and concluded in Las Vegas after an eight race scheduled.
