Hi All, I am new to the forum. I turned in my 2019 DDSRT for a 2022 DDSRT in white.
I love the factory blue stripes, but the only DDSRT I was able to find did not have stripes.
My local installer says it is best just to custom make the stripes.
My questions are
Does anyone know of a manufacturer who provides that color?
What is the correct color?
What is the width of the stripes?
What is the width of the gap between the stripes.
I would love to hear about your experiences, and see images of your stripes
Thank you

Welcome to our place!

Are the factory stripes not available as a part? They must be I would think, body shops need them, right?

Our DSRT came smooth or I would gladly go measure them out for you.

You can buy the stripes although that is probably pricier than aftermarket, but they would be the correct style and color. I just had the driver side roof carbon stripe replaced on my SS because there was a tiny lift on the edge on day of delivery. Dealer found it prepping car and ordered a replacement before I arrived to pick it up. They got the new one in a couple days and then took three days to install. I'm not sure about the Durango but for the Challenger they pull the front and back glass out and wrap the stripes through the opening. My dealer had a specialist come in and do the glass removal and install, that's why it took so long but was the best and safest way to do it.
I was worried about removing the glass but then realized that's what they do at the up-fitter when you have stripes. The factory sends over the painted car and they remove the glass and install the stripes there.

Your stripe guy should have a color and type of vinyl for you to choose from.

Your stripe guy should have a color and type of vinyl for you to choose from.
In addition, if he is even 1/2 good at laying vinyl, he should be able to replicate the OE stripes from the factory pics.
Many of the OE stripes are 3M 1080/2080 wrap material, so I would start there for color selection.

There are many places like this that sell pre-cut kits in your choice of material if your guy can't do it in-house.

If your stripe has a pattern and you not have a sunroof, be advised. Aftermarket vinyls are available only in 60" widths and the roof is about 62.5". So if you want a mirror pattern, you need to stretch the 60" to fit.
