 hmm not familiar with Alpha obd?
But maybe you are with Alfa OBD?

Have played around with that one on the Rams, but haven't changed anything on a Dodge yet.

🤣 thanks guys.
if you’re not familiar with it just google it it’ll pop up. It’s pretty nice application just have to remember to make a backup of your original before you start messing with it 🤦‍♂️

What's needed in order to run and make BCM changes with AlfaOBD? I'm interested in doing so either with Alfa or a Tazer but Alfa has me intrigued.

There is so many problems with the tazer its really not worth it.

Yep, the Tazer does seem to have some issues. On the other hand, you could get in trouble with AlfaOBD, too, but then it's operator error.

I have blamed no one but myself multiple times lol. I turned off paddle shifters a while back, no idea how to get them back on on the uconnect. They work when pressed, but not in transmission options

It seems like it's common that you need to change the settings in a few different places. Miss one and things no longer work as intended.

I've been playing around with adding TPMS, or at least TPIS, in my Ram 3500 for a while now. Next time I drive it I'll find out if I got it right this last time.

That's good to hear. I was leaning towards the Tazer when I saw their recent update about adding the PIN Lock feature as a theft deterrent. However, I wasn't set on it either as I know some sort of killswitch can be wired somewhere to do the same. After seeing the above videos, I'm more intrigued by AlfaOBD and think I might just go that route. It looks very similar to the Ross-Tech VCDS software for the late model VW's, which I've toyed with years ago when I owned a 2013 TDI. A lot of similarities it seems being able to make modifications to different control modules throughout the vehicle. I can recall changing DRL location, fog lights with high beams on, etc. I geek out in my mind over this kinda stuff. Pretty cool!
