Cleaning factory “ black chrome” challenger exhaust tips.

Quick question, I have some carbon and environmental buildup (iron) on the exhaust tips on my 2023 challenge. Soap and water won’t take it off. Can I use a gentle cleanser/cleaner with a mild abrasive (Adam’s light metal polish) without damaging my black chrome exhaust tips?? How are you guys cleaning yours? Thanks for the assist,

Its safe for black chrome rims so its safe for the tips.


Make sure you get the one in the purple bottle when you go into the auto store or Wal Mart.


Make sure the tips are cool then spray water on, after that spray the cleaner and let it sit for a min. Agitate it with a cloth or whatever to clean up good, then rinse.
