That's been the Dodge MO since the 2008 "limited edition" Challenger was produced. People got screwed on that deal when they produced them again in 2009, with upgrades, and at employee price, 0% interest, and $1000 cash back. I remember because I bought an 09 and saved $11K not to mention all the ADM in 2008.

One of the articles I saw said it was just fulfilling the sold orders already placed before they cut it off at 2000. No new order window. If you didn't already order one, you'd be SOL.

According to the article they will be building units to satisfy the ones already ordered...seems many got emails saying their dealer did not have an allotment for the order...so they are building those units for the ones already ordered but seemingly denied...since many dealers were told they were not permitted to even order one...

There are a number of dealers who got some even if you cannot special order any more, but I doubt they will offer them for any "bargain" price...

well just consider in Canada the price is around 30K more! With the conversion, it means in Canada it is over 10K more than here...$130,000 Canadian is like 104K US....and a 2K bump is not too bad depending on what they allow on any trade...

I've seen about 5 or 6 at least now at the wholesale auction we attend weekly. Dealers only. Prices are $93-110k so far.
