Hello everyone. I'm wondering, for those more knowledgeable than I can HELP me. I have a 2018 Dodge Durango SRT 6.4 AWD with 46,000 miles and two weeks ago I started feeling a "clunking" thud, clunk sound idk how to explain only happens on acceleration from a dead stop. It Sounds and I can feel it in the rear. The symptoms have been showing up around 6-10 mph and only happens when accelerating from a dead stop. It didn't matter if I accelerated harder either. Any suggestions before I take it to the shop?

Are you able to get it in the air at all at home?

If so, doing a once over on the drive train might reveal something, even if you don't find something, at least you can rule out some diagnosis that you might get from the shop.

(Unless you explicitly trust your shop)

Also, when is the last time you fed your trunk monkey? Two bananas goes a long way!
