Any interest in a front camera?
Since I DD my Cat, I found that could use a front camera, for parking situations. Backing in is not always an option, so here goes...
I've sourced a camera, switch and have researched a clear path, into the network. A single splice, will be required, for access to video signal. Video return will be the simple addition of a spade terminal and a small bit of tape.
You can power the cam, off ACC (always on, when car is on), or run additional wire, to the switch, for cam power, when selected.
Waiting on the switch.
Installation, of the camera, requires dropping the bumper valance and engine inspection cover (like during an oil change). Really, just the front bumper valance. Running the required wiring, into the cabin. Install the switch, in a location of your choice. Remove radio bezel, screen and radio module. Access to the main radio connector, is required.
Anyway, that gives you an overview, of what you're getting into (or your installer). Let me know if you're interested and I'll get some supplies on order.
I'll post pix,of my installation, when finished.
