NH state police has used chargers almost exclusively for years and years now both marked and unmarked ghost cars. It will be a sad day when I see some hybrid or electric POS sitting in the turnarounds on 95. Pretty sure the state placed a large order for chargers recently knowing they're not being made anymore, so it should still be years yet before this becomes a reality.

A good friend is a President of a Police Union. He was also an officer for a local city. He's also a relatively famous racer from the 70's.
He attends lots of Police meetings and activities. Earlier this year, he attended a police-vehicle performance group with Chiefs, and experts in the field.

The RST Performance Tahoe gets a cold air intake, GM's performance cat back exhaust, and the Police sway bars/suspension. The suspension pieces make the Tahoe sit about an inch or so lower.

I found that interesting when SUV shopping. And I really like that RST Tahoe but no dealer could order one as it seems 6.2Ls always seem to be on constraint.

An email from my dealer about a 4Xe at $45,000 off is what made me look at what else the had on the lot (I was still in '68-'69 El Camino buying mode).

Two used Durango Pursuit cars caught my attention, sending me on a chase of one of those models. Which ended up resulting in buying a highly optioned regular Durango with similar miles but probably 1/10th the idle hours. And for less money. I can live with that.
