Ok, I've put 3 sets of black lug nuts on my wife's 2021 R/T Durango since we got to Tennessee this past April. Every set shows indications of rust from the lug nut socket after just a couple of weeks. Between rain, rust, humidity, mud and super slow home building I'm about ready to leave this place.

What are you guys in the rust/humidity belt doing for lug nuts?
Thx

I put Gorilla spline locking lug nuts on the Hellcat, Durango & even the 'stang when I owned that POS.
Here in hot/humid FL I have seen no rust on any of them ??

Gorilla Wheel Locks #96643BDX are the correct fit for both vehicles.

Yeah, I've got Gorilla on both Hellcats so I guess I'll go that way for the Durango.

Thx

My race wheels use Gorilla spline nuts that are black. My front wheels and tires were bought used from @zhc and he included the whole set of lug nuts with them. Not sure how long he used them but I have used them for over 3 years taking them on and of many times to go racing and there is no rust on them

What I use.
Obviously received when my @TRIUMPH wheels arrived.
Pretty sure Biz sends with all his wheels?
Going to put some new wheels on the Redeye next spring so maybe…..

I run the same on the Cat & Durango, but I don't have humidity & rain to worry about

Developed a very impressive ability to grunt in disgust, and look away.

I have some chrome ones on the Charger for a few years now and they're in great condition.
Weird that yours would be rusting?

When I got mine with the triumph wheels, due to the staggered widths of the wheels, the lug bolts (gorilla) came with different lengths for front and back.
Just an FYI in case you don't have stock setup

I removed the OEM chrome cap lug nuts on day one. I’m just not a chrome guy. We installed satin black ones. I guess the Amazon China black nuts are crap for sure.

I've had good luck with the McGard ones. Never used the black ones, but the chrome ones have held up nicely for me.

My truck has the Gorilla chrome splined ones on it and so far so good.

This is why I use chrome. Function first.

I've got these on both Hellcats. One pair 7 years old the other 2 years old with no issues.
