M6 Dyno pages

Does the newer Challenger hellcat M6’s (like the 2023’s) have dyno graphs on the Infotainment screen?

Exactly! A8 PCM BCM know what gear the car is in, my 16 M6 the car has no idea what gear it’s in unless done by engine rpm and speed calculations to calculate gear. I was wondering if the 23 M6 trans has any gear feedback to the car or not. I just purchased a 17 Infotainment head, the 17 head did not have dyno screen, so that screen fits my platform well and has CarPlay. Wondering how 23 M6 screens are/work?

No, there is no gear feedback from the M6 trans to the PCM, in a 15 or 16 model at least. I have an infotainment head from a 17 A8 and it has CarPlay but does not have the dyno page. I’m wondering what the 23 M6’s have??

Interesting, kinda thinking about updating the infotainment myself. Read it could be a problem, or extra steps might be required for 15's. Haven't dug too far in yet...

I have a 2017 M6 and never ever recall seeing anything that told me what gear I was in. Do you want me to take a screen shot of something on the SRT pages?

Does your screen have the dyno function?

Here’s what my 17 screen looks like. Has CarPlay, gauges look like the 15-16 gauges not the 18 and up, and it does not have the dyno screen.
That’s what I’m curious about, does the any M6 have the dyno page?

PS the screen is in a 17 auto in these pictures, it does not have dyno page even being an auto, I think that came out in 18 auto’s. I’ve yet to try this screen in my 16 M6.

Mike, the screen I used was from a 2019. I'm not sure if that matters or not, but the performance gauges were definitely the updated ones. It's odd those images show 2015/2016 gauges.

I can find the P/N of the one I used if helpful, I think it's in a video I did of the install.

Hi Speedy. I have the part number of the screen you used from your video. My curiosity is if the dyno Graph is available with the 2023 M6 Challengers, and if yes how it works as the original 2015-2017 HC M6 manual trans has no gear feedback, was wondering what the 23 M6 screen looks like.

Yep, have fully functioning Apple Car play. I’d snap pix tomorrow with the gauge cluster. Pretty sure there’s nothing different there though.

Probably the same screen I acquired. I’m going to hopefully be giving it a try and see how it works in the near future but I’m loaded up with other work at the moment unfortunately.

That’s good you’re loaded up with other work! With the 2019 one you’ll need to swap BCMs, I’d check and see if there’s any YouTube videos for 2019+ manual cars to see if they include the dyno pages

Wow!, so it does have dyno graph. What’s it look like during a 1-2-3-4 hit?
Or even just a 4th gear pull? Looks like it knows what gear it’s in?
