As Slow already stated it started in 2017. White for the SRT and red for the Hellcats. You can swap the bag and harness if you like. I believe @Diboblo has experience with this and can chime in.

Yep... started in 2017.

You can install these lighted airbags in 2015+ SRT Grand Cherokee, Charger and Challenger steering wheels, using an updated steering wheel harness.

White lighted airbag assembly: 6RS511X9AA
Red lighted airbag assembly: 6RS501VXAA
Updated airbag steering wheel harness: 683547494AA

NOTE: The updated steering wheel harness is yellow and has different connectors. If you find one, make sure it is yellow, not black, as they ARE different. The black one can be modified to work, but it's an AIRBAG harness. Why take the chance? Just buy the correct one. It's 100% plug and play.

NOTE: It's an expensive mod, but if I could get my hands one one of these lighted units, I could change the lighting color. Just sayin'.
