I painted my own back in the day. It’s not that hard grass hopper😉.

Just to pick a nit. They're fuel rail or coil pack covers. Not valve covers.

It would be painstakingly impossible to get the red paint only on silver part without getting on the black, especially the recessed black part.

That's why I said "fax" plastic covers. But thanks for sharing

I know it doesn't help now, but back in the day, JLT used to do awesome custom hydrographics designs on these covers, but then they suddenly stopped. Luckily, I got in near the end and got a set of faux carbon fiber ones.

Just a thought, but perhaps an ink-roller?

Or a weekend of dedicated, meticulous, detailed work with a paint brush. (Stay away from the alcohol)




I brought this up because it's a project I've been contemplating for some time. My covers actually came missing small portions of the silver and I keep telling myself that I need to fix it.
