I do. But only in the sense that I wish it went farther on a tank.

And please don't misinterpret that statement. It has nothing to do with the mpg it gets, but rather how small the tank is. To me the Challenger is the perfect GT car, with the exception of having to stop every 400 miles, or sooner, to fill it up.

In real life that means I have to get gas just about every time I drive it, and I hate stopping. But stopping for gas with 1/3 of a tank left (to make it home or to the next one) beats running out. And if I do, chances are bigger that someone eventually comes by that has a can of gas than somebody towing a generator.
It matters not how big the fuel tank, or even the range of the vehicle. What really matters is the bladder size to time on the road ratio! ;)

True. On 1.000+ mile trips (not with the Challenger) I usually have to stop once to undrink. Especially in the winter.

The entire position claiming the economics of EV's make them worthwhile, falls completely flat here.

Other than the Coal, does anyone on this forum give a rat's ass about the economics of their ride?!?!?!?

Well, I guess I do, I bought the lowest trim level truck and Jeep. I don't see the value in the high trim levels.

But I did opt for the biggest ICE available and lowest final drive ratio! I have my priorities!

I do local errands in the HC. Took the wife to the library, PO and Walmart.

If the car is clean and it is raining, I'll take the truck or Jeep.
I have 2 Ram P/U's..."06" low mileage 8' bed single cab 2500..(work/plow truck)..."24" Ram 1500 Limited...loaded daily driver...I put a ton of miles on it..I want all the creature comforts...my other cars are all sunny day fun cars....

It's much easier in the summer.since whichever direction I go it'll usually be much warmer than here. Then the body starts dispensing of fluid through the skin, and I don't need to undrink. But I will turn on the A/C before starting to sweat.

Guess I should try cranking the heater up in the winter and see if it has the same effect.

1. Thing is fugly
2. Need a LOT better battery technology.
3. Climate change is real, but has been an ongoing issue for over 4 BILLION years (not man-made).
Agreed, we have the drilling and refining of crude down to a fine science, but the level of mining it takes to get the materials to build an EV battery are far worse. You'd have to own an EV for 12 years (need to look up this stat again) to have it actually be carbon neutral vehicle.

It could be Motor Trend's Car of the Year (and maybe it will be), but I still wouldn't want one.

Unless...it comes with a 6.4 and the other needed parts in a crate, and there's a $60,000 credit for returning all the EV crap.

I tried to watch it, but couldn't. If I watch it, is it a better use of my time than watching Bevis and Butthead?

original Beavis and Butthead, definitely not. the newer B&B's, maybe, depends on how little you value your time

I personally think that the car itself looks pretty damn good and the interior is really nice. Looking as well. I would definitely like to test drive one just for the hell of it though.

It seems (from what little of the video I watched) that they are trying to make a Challenger version (2 door) and a Charger version (4 door)... In other words they are trying to go EV on the cheap - 1 basic car, that fills in for the Challenger and Charger EV/ICE(?), entry(?)/midlevel and cover base/sport models. This follows what seems to be the business model for many Manufacturers these days - make up your lack of volume (to reduce unit costs) by essentially making one model that you sell as multiple "different" models...
