Curious why he doesn’t data log during his passes, can’t see what the car is doing under those conditions, and u fortunately a time slip and video doesn’t really help much for diagnoses. Neither do the codes unless they’re able to see a freeze frame of what other conditions were when the faults set. The dealer will take the micropod (which has built in data logging storage) and try to replicate the conditions, but I doubt they’re taking his car down the track lol

Well I will confirm his Demon 170 isn't the first one to blow an engine...

but this is concerning with all these Demon 170's sitting to be flipped and no one will know for years the car has a bad engine...

I don t plan to watch it but I m sure it has some answers

These cars are heavy & violent off the line
I m sure there will be more getting damaged
Not to mention the technology is pretty wild leaving the door open for anything to happen

Long story short he said the oil had metal shaving in it and he is around 2,000 miles on the car. Said Dodge is going to replace the engine and diagnose his. His new block will be fast tracked to get him up and running.

I know from behind the scenes the replacement blocks just became available a couple weeks ago as I've been working with someone that has been waiting since Jan. for a block

I change the oil on every new car at 500 miles, no matter the type or model!!

So... $150k car, and won't spend $150 for an oil change. 0.1% is damn cheap insurance. $75 if DIY... even cheaper.
