Shifting problem

I have a Durango 2021 SRT and when Iam at a stop and then continue it will not shift out of first when in auto mode I have to make sure I have the paddle mode on so when this happens I put it in paddle mode to shift out of first and then put it back in auto mode anybody have that problem?
Does it once or twice a day

It’s been there a couple days and they haven’t been able to duplicate the problem

Are you sure you havent accidentally hit a paddle? If you hit them in certain modes it automatically engages M mode and won't shift out of first taking off.

I’ll take notice the next time that happens.But I don’t think so

Maybe I'm mis-remembering, but could swear that in temporary manual/paddle mode, it will automatically upshift to 2nd at redline, but only 1-2 shift. All the other shifts points will bounce off the rev-limiter and not upshift. At least in the Charger/Challengers.

Are you also bouncing off the rev-limiter when it fails to upshift?

Well they we’re able to finally duplicate the problem after several try’s.They say they have to console the engineers.Will let you know what they find

The word I got was the transmission valve body needs to be replaced

They changed the valve body but that didn’t work
so now they are going to put in a new transmission

My 2021 Ram truck has stuck in 1st gear a couple of times. What I do is switch it to neutral for a second then back to drive then it's fine. Not sure why but since it's only done it twice in 2 1/2 years, I'm not worried about it & don't want the dealer F-ing with it to just tell me they can't find anything wrong.
