Shelby gt350R heritage edition

it’s a beautiful car. Handles unbelievable.

naturally aspirated 5.2 flat plane crank. Sounds awesome.

needs more power though. I’m not one to leave things stock for long

I know most of you don’t know. But I grew up a mustang kid.

I was the black sheep going to mopar. Still love my Hellcat to death. It’s never leaving the stable.

but now the mustang collection has grown.

I have sinister plans in order for the gt350

built sleeved motor with all the trimmings
Under mount twin precision turbo setup
Built trans
All the supporting shit

will be working on procuring parts for the next 2-3 months. And researching and planning.

ill be road racing with my dad against his gt500 in the meantime, learning to drive at a higher level. And then have her go under the knife around April or may during the hot summer.

I go to the track with a few new gt500 they have pulleys and tuned, with them leaving on 50% power they still trap 156 and running 9.6 all day, just can't put power down at the start!

I had the GT350 17 Model and the Voodoo Motor was my main gripe LOL. You have to rev that motor to 4800 RPMs to get any power out of her. And you have to detach the Exhaust Note Plug if you want any noise in 6th gear. And Congrats on her you got the last run as well which I feel should be a keeper. You also wont have the front end walk like the earlier models and trust me it was radical.

Definitely noticed the lack of low end torque, once your in 4500 or higher it runs good.
What’s nice about the power band I’d you can keep it in 4500 + and it has a good amount of pull before the shift.

Its just allot of fun

Right and she’s as you know a race motor designed to run high RPMs which means she’s designed loose. Watch the oil she drinks it and that was my aggravation you have to rev her to come off the line. And then the Honda Civic guy thinks your racing him😳
