Prep has been a historical problem at my local track on TNT days. Some of the "big" guys and gals started to complain and now they do a few "Hot Shot TNT" events limited to 50 cars, $75 entry, race tires only. They're awesome and worth every penny of the $75. It's too much time and effort to get the car setup and to the track only to have the track ruined by all the street tire yahoos.
I'm going to ask the track manager if they can prep one lane at the next TNT and let the race tire cars run in that lane and put the street tire cars in the other. We'll see how that goes.
It had been 70 deg all week and we were supposed to hit the track today. Weather forecast continued to get worse as the weekend approached ending up with a band of snow this morning closing the track for the weekend.
Too bad, DA woulda been amazing but I doubt the car would hook up anyway at these temps.
