I would Love to see Chrysler, Dodge and the resurrection of Plymouth in the hands of people that love these cars like we do. Unfortunately thats not Mercedes, Fiat, and Stellantis...
Right now I think thats just wishful thinking - not reality. The MBA's that keep thinking it's all about the money don't have a clue...

Mercedes gave us the current platform. They love v8s so I don’t think they are at fault. However Stellants merger, hell no.

How about Volkswagen Group? Currently owns Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini, Bugatti and Bentley. Lots of capital and no real model conflicts with Dodge muscle cars.

This certainly couldn't be any worse than it currently is, which is essentially dead or dieing.

And bring back Plymouth? Late 60s, early 70s mentality? Yup!

And as for the Challenger, a nice blend of D170, RE, and that hybrid transmission that showed up for two seconds.

We keep our power, flex fuel, and hybrid power for fleet economy so we can exist.

Even though Mercedes gave us the Challenger/Charger/300/Magnum platform they also started the "downsize" and lack of product development we see today - from what I understand the 300 platform was an old existing platform Mercedes "gave away" - this lack of real "car" leadership is what started the swirling that got us where we are today... (obviously my opinion)

Isn't VW just drowning in debt right now with dieselgate and the EV kneejerk reaction to it?
I doubt they are in a position to buy more companies but who knows.

VW like FCA, replaced a great boss with an awful one. And all the goodwill that was built up is now in the toilet.
