A TRX with the Hurricane engine.
540hp
0-60 in 4.6
69k starting price.

Granger already advertising 4% under invoice.
Mark Dodge listing $8,500-11,000 off sticker depending on options!

So a base RHO is low 60s. That is pretty attractive deal. Remember the rumor of a 392/426 TR (no X) truck to pair with the TRX for several thousands cheaper? Its now here.

My 2014 Ram Big Horn with a 395 HP Haemi stickered for $42,500 and was bought for $32,500, so $27,000 for 145 more HP seems like a bargain. </sarcasm>

$32.5k in 2014 is $42.8k today.

Big Horn Hurricane today is 53.7k but when adjusted for inflation is $40.7k
With the $8,500 off sticker price that $53.7 is now $45.2 and in 2014 dollars is $34.3k

It is a totally different market from 10 years ago but the prices are holding the line.

But none of that matters because no one is cross shopping a a TRX/RHO/Raptor/Raptor R with a Big Horn or XL 1500 truck.

The torque curve on that engine is rather impressive--better looking even than the 6.4L hemi.
Aside from the lack of V8 sound and likely durability issues, that engine may very well be a compelling offering for towing.

The way you explain it I can't afford NOT to buy it. And you must have missed the </sarcasm> tag.

4.6 to 60 is faster than most people can pilot a stock Hellcat.

Hilarious. What a downgrade. At least they could have made it look different than the TRX. I can certainly get my 'Cat to 60 faster than 4.6 seconds and I live in Denver, so no RHO is going to be in front of me. Stellantis=WTF.

I would not want to run against my Durango 6.4 SRT with my RE (with brand new 345/30’s) on most city streets for a block. I tried to do a couple of 0-60’s last night on an evening cruise and failed at the line both times and just “forgot about it”. Chit, thinking about it, I am not sure my ‘18 GC with the 5.7 would be good to be up against either! Now after being in motion, no, none, nada contest period.:p

Yea, thats what I want...... A "Poser" truck....... riiiiiight
lol actually its pretty dope wish it had a different look tho.

Lets be real its has two turbo's so the potential for hp is just as high as the TRX
just not sure what that motor/trans can handle.

Im sure the gas mileage is far better. The TRX gets 9 mpg lol.
My 1700 hp Trackhawk gets better gas mileage fact lol.

No videos but I think the Nitto R2's help out, I've been in a dead heat to 60mph with a TRX. This is on the street. Once again, this RHO is a big step back in my view.

I will admit to admiring the TRX, they just look so damn cool! I do not think this RHO is a bad offering, probably the best thing Dodge has going for it right now.

Its ripe for a big single turbo.

I'm on the fence until I see tuning options become available.
I'd really like a Hurricane in a Gladiator but i doubt that happens. I think Jeep just lets that model die.

Yeah that's what sucks about the whole thing, they HAD a great motor. I know regulations and company decisions shut it down but it would've been cool to at least see a factory TRX with a Redeye motor.
