If anyone is on IG to check it out.
Hey James.... moving videos from YouTube to here is easy but I can’t get them off Instagram. It would be nice if this forum would support videos but... ☹
Congrats on success with this. The Maggie is a great little supercharger and you just proved that it’s as capable as they come. The only caveat being that for over about 800 hp, it needs that $700 idler setup to make the boost needed without belt slip. That bigjonracing idler is rock solid.
One of the things that those interested here need to know is, besides the heat and high DA.... yours is not being run as a full race motor to get big numbers.
This was done on e85 and not the e90 Ignite race fuel. Your car is being built as a pump e85 street car and not a 1/4 mile record setter like mine.
Tim will not throw the kind of aggressive timing at yours like if you were running the race fuel. Tim said to call it a day because the “900whp” plugs you have in there weren’t doing their job past 6200 rpm.
I have no doubt that come late November when the morning temps are in the 60’s and you return to the dyno with the proper plugs (read expensive into that) and maybe that 3.0 Griptec pulley, you’ll see 1150whp. Who knows... maybe more. Load it up with some Ignite Red and let Tim throw 23degrees at it and I’ll bet..... 1200. 🤨
