Are you talking about the 'skip shift' lockout? Cause that's a real easy and cheap fix. Just a small @$15 wiring harness that piggy backs into tranny harness and your done. THE first mod on my '09 SRT. That sh&* drove me crazy.
It's funny you mention that, because I rarely experience it... first to second shift when driving rarely sees less than 1/2 throttle - I love the 1 - 2 second shift feel when accelerating - just enough to hear the supercharger kicking in (although my wife gets annoyed with me when shes sitting in the passenger seat -lol)

On those occasions that I'm being either lazy, or just plain casual, I've taken to shifting 1st-3rd.

It works for me because it's not the shift into 4th that makes for a complete dead response, and I don't even have to think about the skip-shift.

Then there's the other 95% of the time when I don't have to worry about it because I'm doing my best to stay off of the rev limiter.

The Redeye got titanium hardware for the throttle body and thermostat housing.

I don't need them to speak english.....I understood everything they were saying.....or maybe they were just saying everything I wanted to hear :devilish::devilish:

Cleaned it up some.Loaded up and headed to the track.
Decided to tow it for a change to be sure I wouldn't get caught in the rain again. 20200808_095125.jpg

I was going to buy a tazer and for some reason thought you couldn't do the cool down with it so bought the burnbox. Looks like I could have saved money on not having to buy the TPMS sensors front and back:(
