1.24 60 foot with Stock A8 & Torque Conv.

Z inspired me so I went to a track today to see if I could come close to his 60 foot with 700 less RWHP. Time slip is below, boost only, off the trailer, 6.2 L motor, stock blower (no porting), stock A8 including torque converter, stock 2.62 rear (welded up). Tuned by Eric @ EMP.

That is launching in 1st gear. This is my birthday present to Eric.

Well Z gave me a wake up call, he crushed my A8 record and his 60 foot says it all, he has serious big time power. I run basically a stock drive train so I got to make the most of it. Switched to a 2.55 upper (from a 2.65), it does not yield more boost, however gives me more torque on the hit. I have less than 900 RWHP on boost, that is all anyone is going to get out of a stock 2.4 blower so got to make it count.

Ohhh of course a killer Tune is needed

radial pro 315, IMO best tire for heavy cars, however, they stick out on challengers, may tuck in on a charger.

At Epling's event it scaled 3,835 as I recall, at Dan's MSHS event (both in kentucky) it was 3,820.00

6 second build is going slow, everything is custom, Rossler trans should be in hand in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the kind words, there so many incredible builds here, cats weighting over 4,200 or 4,400 pounds going Ricky Bobby quick, I have to up my game. I want everyone to go quick, including myself, the game keeps getting quicker and quicker. I made a mistake with a mild steel 8.5 cage, should of went with a 7.5 chrome moly.

Z has laid the smack down running 8.4 with a big girl, I am working on a nitrous system that does not blow up my blower, been there done that. One (1) hole in the hood is enough.
