Preparing for the “off season”........I removed the front sway bar -15lbs with hardware and added these -12 up front as well. 30lbs off the nose should be nice for my next hits.....in April......😭

Always nice to remove weight, especially in the front, so those are the Demon rotors, did you have to do the Demon calipers too, with the rotors ?

They are an OEM replacement from Demon Performance. They are same setup as stock, but lighter by 6lbs each.

Ended up putting a Flatout Performance Throttle body on the car in place of my HHP 105. The duty cycle of the HHP was high or high enough to potentially cause error with the amount of air this thing pulls. My first test WOT hit showed much better results. The motor in the TB is supposed to be a bit stronger than stock (which is what the HHP and other variants use) apples to apples. Need to get another through the gear logs to get more info. So far so good.

I'm running a HHP 105mm and I'm not having any issues yet , but I'm also only making 17-18 psi on a 2.7L IHI . I also spent a lot of time fine tuning it .

The HHP did just fine on my ported 2.4L, but we had to do some tricks to make it act right at WOT on the Maggie. I was only 16-17psi on the 2.4L. 22-24 now on the Maggie.

That's what I'm getting at . On the IHI with limited input/output it's fine . Other superchargers capable of more boots not so much any more .

Same issues we had on the LSA with the larger NW tb's.

I have been watching and hoping that wasnt the case here.

A solid & reliable option would be nice.

I’m curious about this Flat Out Performance TB....
I have the VMP 105mm on my car right now. So far so good no codes no tuning issues. I’m wondering though that last time on the dyno we couldn’t get the car to go past 6100-6200rpm. Tuner said not enough spark so we changed out the plugs. Car will hit the rollers again next week. Point is if it happens again my shop brought up that a small possibility of the TB having issues staying wide open at high rpm.
The Maggie sucks in so much dam air. Should a code pop up if the TB was having trouble staying open at high rpm and max air flow or not?
The Maggie has the full Jokerz port work done to it and the snout as well.
Hey Brian I saw some pics of the FOP tb. Man it sure does look good.
Share pic of it on the car when you have some time.

Will do.

It will throw a code if the duty cycle hits 100% for it yes. Keep us posted.

So this is all new to me and time todo some research. You think if it hits a 100% that it would be wide open and optimal air flow and that’s what we want right? Or is 100% a bad thing?
Lol I think i have all this backwards.....

You want a lower duty cycle, it’s like injectors. It shows the “tax” on it.
