what size pulley is needed with tune for roughly 900hp at crank?

797 stock, asking about 100hp, why I say pulley and tune. Set for 93 octain, and optimized tune. Not sure if also need upgraded injectors.
My assumptions are redeye is really demon platform built for 840 in stock form, so my thinking is 840 bulletproof , running at 900 should easily be ok.
315 tires required obviously

my thinking is the demon platform was designed bullet proof at 840 and in redeye 797, so adding 60 isnt a big streach to put it at 900 crank.

SAE who did the engine certification/dyno testing for FCA has documented that the Demon and the Redeye engines make 812hp and 717tg at the crank in the street configuration. I have copies of those documents. So.....

I didn't realize you we're talking about a Redeye. You can go with a 3.1 pulley a 180° thermostat and a tune. That will add 60 to 80 hp at the wheels. That would be right in the neighborhood of the 900 crank HP you want. With any smaller pulley you will need larger injectors.

I recently added the Litens 3.17 in. pulley, 180 thermo, and had the car street tuned with Curt Dusterhoff.
Noticeable gain for sure. IMO having him tune the TCM is the biggest improvement.

If so, I would call that tuner's credentials into question.
Of course, that's completely situational. If you can't get e85 and you don't mind buying and running race fuel - there is some truth to that.

Why the 900hp crank number?

I've personally not thought about horse power in a while and look at how fast the car is as the metric of measure. I have no idea how much mine actually makes anymore but runs 9.80s at 140+mph which is pretty fast I think.

And how about that engine that will be good for 2000 HP ( Forgot to tell you it's only on paper, that nobody ever ran one)

And just an FYI I do let people know what I know, they can believe me or not.

When your build is so different and the shop you are at closes then you are also stuck with mods that not another Tuner doesn't want to Tune.
