Those twin turbo VW V10s are something else

And pretty accessible now. I think 120s gets you a used Audi R8 V10 and places like Underground or AMS will install their base TT kit for under 50k.
Its supposedly 800-900hp and capable of running way into the 9s on street tires and pump gas.

Yes you can go a lot faster for that money, but if you need to play in the exotics world, that isn't too bad.

Really need the V10 Plus R8 to TT. The previous versions aren’t the best to build and are not capable.

GTR is extremely capable as well. 1700+ 180+ traps and car drives like it’s stock. They get it much quicker than the Lambo/R8 platform and are tough to catch.

I know for a fact that the stock R8 is quick, but not fast enough...run one a few months back and he hung,(after telling him to just GO from the light), caught him in a few 100 feet and he never caught back up. When I let off I was at 165...

Yeah the v10 plus is only a 10.6 @ 130 car with high 7 second 60-130 times stock.

It’s ahi me but a new Tesla will walk it like a minivan.

They don’t do well with blowers, just TT kits.

With 1000hp and 3,600 lbs they wake right up like the Lambos. The gear box just needs clutches up to 1300 +/-

I owned a 2014 S6, never again, the engine design is retarded, gotta take half the engine apart to change the PVC valve, same with the spark plugs, I am not kidding, NEVER AGAIN

The twin turbos are in the valley where the intake normally is, complete shit show for maintenance, traded it in on a Trackhawk, no more German cars for me. The S6 did suck when it broke more than once and was in the shop for weeks, low mileage, dealer maintained, just bullshit. You Tube it, the twin turbo V8s are a shit show

They look pretty sweet while they’re apart though. This is my brothers 2017 S6 taken apart for new downpipes and turbos. While it was under the knife they dug in further to address some oiling issues that these cars are known for, like the PCV.
He sunk some money into this thing so that I could still get outrun by Hellcats.

I went to a cars and coffee dealio today and did my damnest to Exorcise the Demon's lungs a bit (ok a LOT). Gorgeous weather, 65F and not a cloud in the sky. Anyhow, before I left the CnC I noted my mileage and HAD to take a pic...I was ready to drive away and hadn't noticed before...

I contemplated TOWING her back home or maybe driving backwards?

Haha that is pretty awesome! I'm a little blown away that you can keep the miles that low but Demons are special for sure. I'm coming up on 12k miles on my Redeye in almost 2 years, gosh I love driving it!
