After watching your video decide to tackle the job of toe/trail arms and your video helped tremendously. Rear end feels amazing, no wheel hop. Great video again Speedy! I was on the fence about which rear suspension company to give my money to and you made that an easy choice!

You really need to get an affiliate link or something to get a cut of the parts sales from your channel! ;)

Little update, after 1,000 miles or so everything is great. I really like the feel of everything in the suspension.

Recent outing I did get some wheel hop on a cold surface. When swapping tires at the end of the day I noticed the sway bar just kissed the upper control arm, presumably during the brief hop. This was with the HHP standard shortened sway bar end links. Probably not a huge deal but I don't like anything even remotely possible like that so I ordered BWOODY end links with grease fittings since those seem to insure no contact.

Do we know folks who have the BWoody items installed and are not getting the interference?

Also, don’t worry, I can make it hop dry or wet and mine has absolutely all the stuff installed to prevent it. It’s all in the right foot.

@16GoManGoHC2 reported the BWOODY links don't make contact I believe.

This is correct, I had no interference issues with the Bwoody links.

I'll measure them against the HHP standard ones, I expect to find the HHP standard ones a bit shorter than BWOODY.

Bwoody here. AAD here. No contact thus far on my charger.

And like DGatzby...I can still make it hop anytime I want. Lol

Wheel hop occurs when you're just at the limit of traction. Not enough to quite stick and dead hook but too much for it to just spin. The surface was dead cold and subsequent launches did VERY well with some other surprising outcomes. Stay tuned for all that.

I just finished installing mine yesterday, love the pieces!

What’s everyone’s experience with an alignment using these arms. When the car is on the rack, is it necessary to take the wheels off to adjust the tabs/arms? It looks like there is enough room to not have to take off the wheels, but my alignment guy is curious.

For me I find wheel hop will occur more often when my tire pressure is too low, and 1 lb makes a difference, get a good gauge or at least one that is very repeatable in its measurements. I find with the Nitto 315/35-20 555R2’s on a cool street say 50F 27 psi is about as low as I can go before if I break them loose they hop, to high they’ll just spin smoothly at least, I’d rather that, wheel hop is an axle killer, don’t ask how I know LOL, ask DSS they rebuilt enough of mine under warranty to know LOL 😂

IMO AND as per my experience; a too quick application of torque like we can produce will hop this car no matter what road, temp, tire. Yes, the bushings help greatly, but some loose spots remain. For example, I have not changed the differential bushings, but have changed everything else. Still a little room to wiggle. It is any wiggle in the system that starts the oscillation. But, like we all know, slow application (slow is relative) of power plus bushing replacements in the rear generally make it all work well.

In the pictures above, I see lock nuts being used WITHOUT seeing any threads protruding through them which negates the locking effect. Are fasteners supplied or is the installer required to source those items? If those are suppled, someone needs to wake up their engineering dept.

Don't assume the arms come from AAD torqued to spec. I double checked on my end during my install and they were close, but not at spec. That could potentially be why you are not seeing threads poke through.

Also on the toe links, it is not hard to get the bolt out from the IRS cradle, once the nut is removed it will seem like the bolt is jammed up. Simply throw a ratchet/socket on there and rotate it until the internal flat edge of the bolt and washer line up and it should slide out effortlessly.

I should probably do the toe rods this year to complete the set...but either way need to reset my toe and check alignment.

I don't anticipate it to have moved at all. These pieces are solid AF.

I haven't done camber with the wheels on. Never really had a need to. The tabs and advice they provided got me dead nuts on the 2nd try.

Thanks Speedy, watched both the alignment video and the install videos....very informative.

Did you happen to notice if they were adjusting the tabs on the arms with the wheels on the car?
