ABS cover on your Redeye

OK, my 2015 Hellcat was delivered with ABS cover. Now My Redeye does have one. Am I missing something here or is everyone in the same boat?

I just put one on mine . Does cover up that ugly mess. You have to cut two small wire ties. I used the Plastic push pins too install.

I just noticed, I don't have one either on the 392. (Never noticed Hellcats had this cover)

I think I'll order one too, 68272122AA same # for Charger/Challenger.

Guess I'm old school. The less plastic under the hood the better IMO...especially a Muscle car. I don't mind seeing some of the things many people wanna cover up. I actually like seeing the inner workings of it all, especially if it's done tastefully like Dodge has done. I like how they routed things, taking extra time and materials to keep things clean, organized, yet mechanical. Once you take the covers off in many modern engine compartments it looks like a rats nest. Wire harnesses, vacuum lines, sensors, etc. No rhyme or reason. No wonder they cover that sh** up. Dodge hit a home run under the hood IMHO. It's an ENGINE compartment of the best Muscle car on the planet! Show it all off!

RE does not come with the ABS cover. Don't know why.... except saving a few bucks.

Older model cats have the ABS cover from the factory.

Easy to install cover. Use two zip ties supplied to secure items between ABS and fuse box. No cutting necessary.

I plan to get a cover myself. Actually I was thinking about taking the cover off my '15 HC before I traded her in, but I thought that might be too obvious....plus I figured a new one can't cost that much..

-I'd love to have a ABS cover like Paladin06 has....the PCP will match. But then I'd feel obligated to buy all the other matching covers and I know they are $$$$...

I’ve purchased all the matching parts. Just waiting for delivery.

Only the cars that still have the older style hoods with the heat extractors have them to prevent water and crap from getting all over the ABS unit since it's almost directly under the vents. The RE hoods don't have the extractors so I guess FCA decided it was an opportunity to shave a few bucks off production costs....so you're kinda right also!
