Just so you know for me this was a total non issue in the scheme of things because the car is outstanding in every aspect. It arrived flawless with perfect fit and finish and I have to pinch myself every time I look at it. An 807 HP true muscle car that rides like a dream in total comfort exemplifies engineering at it's best.

Yes indeed!! Honestly yesterday I felt like crap, so I literally babied it home and put it in the garage. Feeling a little better today but rain is in the forecast until the weekend. Hope to be 100% by then so I can enjoy the car!

Still working on breaking the car in... 180 miles so far. Loving it, but can't wait to let it eat!

Speaking of that, these finally showed up. My front wheels for the drag pack--Weld Ventura 18x5's. Rears are still back ordered. Along with the Hoosier front runners... Along with the Nitto 555G2 315/40/18 front street tires... along with my Demon race filter... Is there anything not back ordered these days?!?

Billet Specialties is on top of things. I have rarely had to wait very long for any of their stuff. Usually in stock and I think the longest was 2-1/2 weeks. I ordered some Forgestar rear matching wheels for my car and it was 8 months of intense pathetic run around. I finally and shockingly got my money back.

I would liked to have gone with Win Lites BUT my wallet was hurting after the purchase of this car! The Weld Ventura's were significantly less and I got them before the June price increase. Will I ever see the rear set? Who knows!?

300 miles achieved! If I understood the manual correctly, I interpreted that as WOT since they allow you full rpm range. Wow, it's definitely a beast for a stock car! Super fun--but I can't wait to put the Hoosiers on it and really see what it's got.

Couple questions from things I've noticed so far... Is gear whine normal? Our Charger Daytona 392 also has it, but not as noticeable, probably because of the interior/rear seats in the Charger. Since my Super Stock just has a rear seat delete, I'm thinking more noise gets transmitted into the cabin.

Is there some kind of clear film or paint protection on it, and which pieces have it? I noticed when wiping it down that some of it was sort of peeling away on the edge behind the door.

Here's a quick video I made, but nothing too exciting since I only have one startup video clip so far. I'll be trying my hand at making some footage for YouTube once fall weather racing gets here.

A certain amount of gear whine is normal on the RE's (many have reported it )which I understand is basically the same with a few PCM/TCM changes. When I first got my RE I noticed it but now that I think of it, I haven't noticed it lately. Maybe they've broken in or I'm just used to it and tune it out.

With the rear seat deleted yes your Super Stock will be louder. Almost 70 and my hearing is getting worse, but I love the sound of my Demon with the rear seat delete.

My workplace is having a "Virtual Car Show" since so many of us are working from home these days. We have to submit pictures and/or a 30 second video clip by this coming Friday. Classes are Classic/Antique, Modern/Late Model, Truck, and Motorcycle. So obviously I'll be submitting the Super Stock for the Modern/Late Model class.

Tried to get some good pics yesterday, so I'll flood this thread with some more!

Test fitting the front Weld skinnies while STILL waiting on the rear Welds (ordered June 8).

Also hit 500 miles last week, but haven't had the chance to try the line lock or launch control.

Found some Demon wheels with Hoosier drag radials from another forum member on here, so if I get those soon then I can finally go get some baselines at our local eighth mile drag strip.
