Driveshaft question….

Is there a driveshaft made with a splined shaft that allows fore/aft movement of the DS? It seems that I remember one (possibly Wiles?). There are people wanting to consider the 4-link rear like I have but want to stay with the A8. The 4-link needs to have some fore/aft DS movement at the trans and that requires a splined slip shaft somewhere in the connection between the pinion and the trans. Anybody know if that is available with a hp90 shaft?

The Gforce driveshaft had a splined coupler in but unfortunately had cheap cast steel adaptors on each end.

Known by some to be a fuse for the driveline.😂

Marc if I remember correctly my CCI has a slip yoke near the trans.
The Wiles was similar.

That’s the one I was remembering! The live axle/4-link needs 3/4” of forward slip to allow for the change in pinion angle on acceleration. Guys wanting to keep the A8 need to build that into the combination and this is going to have to be it. I’ll call those manufacturers and see what they have to say. Thanks!
