I added to that reply. The DragPak is a full chassis race car that Watson builds as a base starter for the competitive guys you see running in FSS. They spend additional $100’s of thousands to reach to top of the class.

A few years back the copas were out running every thing on the track. More road race than any others but still very impressive. Lambos Bugatis Ferrahis, and 1 big difference in the engine associated. The copa was running a 6 intercooler for more hp. I guess it made a difference. But where do you place these things>>

The Legion thing started with Demon owners that wanted to run their cars and not just collect them like baubles. The goal was to match or better the SRT promoted performance. Conditions to do that have to be just right and the Houston track in January can be relied on more than anywhere else to do it for them. It has always been invitational. Originally a Demon was the ticket but now an exceptional Hellcat with proven credentials can get you in. Basically it’s a car club track rental for setting records and personal best Performance’s. And yes…. Knowing somebody doesn’t hurt.
