Wow...@ 199...it takes an extra 50 HP to break 200...would lowering the car say 2 inches have any effect @ all:unsure:

bhp is the same as wheel hp, so 750bhp is ~890hp at the crank, and that's just so you can get to 200 in ONLY a mile, with more space, and good air, you can do it stock (almost)

Edit: see below

i think you mean 750whp (wheel) ~890bhp? brake and crank hp basically the same thing. wheel includes driveline losses, and must be less than brake/crank hp

Bhp = whp

Literally the same as applying the brakes

Crank only includes accessories (per SAE)

Edit: I'm wrong, see below

707hp gets us to 199mph, obviously in decent DA and enough space.

The guys down at the Kennedy Space Center (2mile course) were coming right up to that.

Not that it's still running, but at the Colorado Mile, if you were running ~750bhp in a Challenger, that got you to ~200mph in the mile.

Was that what you were asking, or something different??
Mostly that our cars are designed more like a brick than a knife to cut through the air at those speeds. I would think one would need a much lower drag coefficient, than we have, to run in the 200 mph range...no matter the HP.

Definitely 1200cc FIC for E85 and I'd plan a flex tune for daily and a dedicated E85 tune for the mile.

I’m wondering if the aero on these things would ever let us get to 200.
My buddy Sam holds the record in a Challenger (RT at that) as far as I know at 212.8MPH in the TX Mile. He set that record in his 2009 R/T some years back and I don't believe it has fallen. Of course it had loads of upgrades, was Twin Turbo, etc and was an M6 car as well. We did play with aero just a bit with some plastic wrap and picked up 3-4mph.

Everything I’ve seen says bhp is at the flywheel or crank. In the sixties hp was always stated by manufacturers as bhp. No one talked about whp. I’ve been wrong once before in my life, this could be the second time. :LOL:

There was a point in time where bigger injectors caused issues with drivability. But with modern tuning capabilities this isn’t an issue anymore.
so i shouldn't throw some 2100's in for pump gas ???
