Prep has been shit. Not impressed at all. Im on kill mode and this 60’ is killing me. May have to run 10.0 index again…

Had a great time yesterday. It was chaos in my car, all my fault. Made a pass on ecomode, made a pass on manual 2nd gear. Was eliminated in round one of both classes, bur I did get a pb of 11.003 @ 123. 1.600 60'. So, while I didn't get into the 10's, I'm happy.

@fumanchu182, was good meeting up again. Will definitely have to join you for some trips to capitol, I need to figure out and stick to a routine.

@Linda's Hell Cat, after reading your posts for so long, it was great meeting and talking with you in person.

Just get some seat time at the local t&t. Learn your car and get comfortable with it.
If it was easy, we'd all be professional racers.

With my suspension and set up the 60’ should have been better. Even guys that were used to 1.3x the best they could do was 1.4x. I am in relax mode. Maybe later today Ill get all my time data put in my timesheet. Ill be at the rock in May.

You're absolutely correct. If I'm honest with myself, this was only my third time at the track and I'm not upset about my results. ChallengerFest last year, MSHS at MIR last year and this. Like I said, I'm not unhappy with results. Little miffed I missed 10's by .004, but not unhappy AT ALL. I know I need seat time and a repeatable routine / checklist. I just know there's more in the car. Definite driver mod is needed.

Try to get in a few quality practice sessions before you go to a meet. One that's strictly slicks and drag radials only. It will sharpen you up and then you can jump right into the game.

i was doing mid 1.4 60’ for most of last season, with the new suspension I was expecting more. Spoiled yes as Cecil and MIR have great prep and Capitol is getting better, had my first 1.3 there a week ago. 😂
