Dynoing My 8 Sec Built 428 Whipple Hellcat Charger

It may be a surprise to some folks, but I never had a chance to dyno the new build before I ran the 8.9's last week. After making several 8 second passes, I decided to change that fact and see how much power she's making.

The 8.90 tune as-is made an SAE corrected 1137 WHP and 1015 torque. After a couple tweaks, I ended the day with 1155 WHP and 1029 torque.

E90 Ignite 114 Red for recent events, otherwise I run pump E85 for more casual activities with a larger upper pulley.

No, my old build was a full bolt on stock sealed long block with stock unported IHI supercharger.

What size pumps on your Fore?. I have the 525s and we put a dual BAP on to “help” and it blew the pump fuses. Talked to Fore and they said don’t do that because that triple pump system is good for 1700 hp.

i have 274 / 450’s and I’ve had a bit of luck boosting those in a returnless setup. I’m going to try the JMS P2020 FuelMax Voltage Booster which is fully adjustable.

ZHC did you upgrade your heads? If so who did the heads for you?
