I think a couple of them ran last year.

I recognize a few of them. Alex Taylor had a 69 Camaro she raced when she was younger and has been on 1320videos and a few others at different times. Western Champlin has some wild car builds on his youtube channel but I only catch the episodes where he has the car running. Tavarish I believe finds cheap cars and fixes them to sale but has done some challenges against other youtubers like the guy from VinWiki. Collette is a supposed pro racer in many different types of racing. I only remember watching her burn her boyfriends GT350 to the ground on the track

Along with Herman they should all be new. Only reason Taylor won last year was because of a jump. They did a rerace for fun and he smoked her

Donut Maker sorta been quiet other than a few posts on Instagram. Not sure what's going on there.

We are trying to have Hermans car ready this coming weekend so we can start making test hits. Motor Trend/Dodge originally said we could run an automatic transmission (have it in an email) and now are making eveyone run a 6 speed manual. So we are scrambling to get parts ordered and delivered by the end of this week. Still lots to do and not a lot of time.

automatic DQ was the reply, so the original plan was just bolt the manual down in the trunk for weight. Rules say you must use manual transmission, but does not specify how you use it.

All the builders that were selected for this years Roadkill nights were given a Redeye crate engine, mopar engine management system, 6 speed manual transmission and 10k to build their car, they could use any car they want to build but you have to use those items provided by Dodge.

The issue at woodward is the traction, they close down Woodward Avenue and that is the track, no prep at all.

Mopar is pushing the direct connection stuff heavy right now. If you notice there is no A8 listed in the direct connection and that is because there is no stand alone harness available except from Sound German Automotive and my understanding is that is very difficult to get the “smart transmission” to work as a stand alone unit.

To bad you were ready this weeekend. We just had two days of no prep street outlaws jj arm drop in my home town. Pretty much unlimited test passes. Would have been a good spot to practice
