The other day it said congratulations you got the correct answer.
Unfortunately just got this email:
"Thanks again for participating in the Horsepower Challenge. Due to a system error, participants who responded to Question 1 with the answer “4:16 minutes.” were notified that this was the correct answer. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
However, to remedy this, we will be doing a drawing from among all eligible entries who were notified “4:16” was the correct answer AND we are adding a sixth car so you still have a chance to WINyour very own Special Edition 2019 Challenger Hellcat Redeye. "
Unfortunately just got this email:

wow! all i can say is, i have a problem with another possible answer, which i believe is the correct one based on a certain set of physics assumptions - it is also the one you get when following the suggestions of "Engineering Explained" (Jason). Problem is, that answer has not always been in the answer set at various points of "hashtagging" the set down - it has been in and out, and has been driving me nuts all week trying to get in the head of the contest designers as to whether it is a clever, intentional trick answer, or now a freaking mistake in the programming based on the above! Dang, I am glad Week 1 is almost over

The choice for the answer was actually, 3 minutes and 91 seconds, at least when I was presented 60 answer choices. Could have been a bit of an Easter Egg answer/clue being so close to 392...
Congrats to all those that got the correct answer. Now... lets see who is selected to be the first winner. Hopefully, a forum member and not a 110 year old retired math teacher with a calculator...

As I said before..... FCA is consistent.
They will now probably find a way to drag out the winner selection for the first redeye until sometime in 2020 at best and after Brampton has a unexpected plant closure for some paint booth problems. Always a cluster with them... nothing will surprise me...
BTW, maybe I missed it but, how is the selection from all the correct entrants made? How is it kept honest and above board by the administrator that makes the selection? Smells ripe for shifty activity without oversight.

Has anyone seen an actual winner announced yet? Other than Goldberg saying a winner has been selected at the beginning of the video that gives the answer to Week 1.
Not sure if anyone else noticed, but Dodge screwed up how the hashtags reduced the answers for the first week. It went something like 80 to 60, 60 to 40, 40 to 30, 30 to 15 for me, and then the fifth hashtag wouldn’t work.
@DodgeCares, What gives with all the screw ups the first week?
P.S. All I want for Christmas is a new Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye and a Red Ryder BB gun! I swear I won’t shoot my eye out, but I may make an attempt at breaking the sound barrier. 😬

I received the same reply, however I did submit the correct answer. I believe that they may have stopped acknowledging the correct answers, so that word would not spread as to what the correct answer was.
At least that is how I would run the submission process.
ALSO... the winner will be emailed that they have been selected. That was in the rules or said by Goldberg at some point. Your email address was used for registration and submission.
I would think that once the person selected was notified by email, that the name would be published somehow. BUT, who knows at this point what will be done.
This is FCA we are talking about here. They didn't even know what options would actually appear on your ordered cars until they showed up at your dealers lot. Can you say Technology Group?
