@fumanchu182 how'd you get the "Boost" pid? Maybe it's in there by default and I never noticed.

For reference the Magnuson on my old car would get IATs to around 175°F or so at the end of the 1/4 on a reasonably warm day. I'd say 170°F is warm but not crazy hot. I'd not want to go over that though. On my original Hellcat 2.4L I've seen 168°F in 3,000 DA on the 2.72 pulley.
Boost pid is not native to the PCM. Over trial and error I tried doing MAP calculations for my own boost. Gave up on Map/baro for the ratio. PCM provides natively PRatio. Make sure you are logging Baro and PRatio pids.

I’m seeing 170F with a 2.69 on a 2.4 at 1730da, 84F outside

TCM tune might have a lot to do with it. But I ran a 9.9/9.8 80+ degrees out and 1730 DA, I know you have way more done your MPH should have been higher at the very least (3.09 I’m assuming vs my 3.70), my mph was 141.7

Time will be killer with that TCM tune and traction maybe it was too cold out, still not a bad time by any means

So @Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC was nice enough to help me this Sunday. So Im not making excuses and this is the list of things I was fighting.
  • Bad e85 (only tested e75)
  • Unknown trans
  • Less than stellar prep
However @jonx96 and I are married at the wheel now so I guess its okay to let y’all know that he’s take over tuning for me. However that doesn’t negate my responsibility to know the principals and why he decided to make those changes. Anyway long story short two revisions in and that transmission is singing.

the mph is there just need a good hit. Mir is opening this weekend and will have better prep. Will be breaking out the et street radial pros as well. I want all the smoke!

With better fuel we can up spark. With more data we can get the trans completely dialed in. Also im on the 2.85 pulley, haven't even thought about party pulley yet.

really showed what a trans tune is capable today 10.1 to a 9.8 with the trans tune being the only change. The 9.7 same max timing but ramped in timing a little harder. Good fuel, 3 to 4 more degrees and a harder ramp for good prep and there goes a few more 10ths. I will say this. There gets to be a point where more boost is safer than more timing. For the 9.5 class I think you will find the 2.7 pulley and a softer launch will be the way to go.

Looking at your signature you are up 3 mph. That’s a pretty good sign.

Say no more fam, party pulley going on tomorow night!

Yeah I'm way up at this point than last year than the 2.7 litens and the 10% combo.

Yeah i'm slightly at the point of where I was with the 2.7 litens and the 10% but the trans, diff and axles were all breaking back to back. Also got some more cooling mods coming soon so that's good as well.
