On a serious note, I noticed when I jacked a front corner, it would lift the side, and unweight most of he other front corner. I was very impressed that these cars are so stiff. I am pleased to see we really get something for that weight.

Changed the rear fluid. @16GoManGoHC2 has these nice magnet plugs. Last year I drilled out the holes so I could use the bigger bolts on the cradle. The 15/16 are threaded but you have to use the smaller bolts The magnet was full of pieces from drilling it out and covered the magnet. I cleaned it off but there must have been more floating around and you can see them sticking to the outside. Magnets on the inside had a lot of stuff stuck to them also. They were put in with new fluid last year. I had some Redline 75w140 Non Slip so i went with a quart of that and topped it off with 75w140 which has the modifier in it. Sure it won't make the rear much quieter but may help a little

So. can't you just pull up on the one low wheel and shove in a foam block to give the 50lb or so of support to balance it? (This is starting to feel like Mikey in the Life cereal commercial!)

I was more curious to see what would happen. Passenger side worked pretty well. If you put some weight in the trunk it would work easily. I could move the front corner up some, may have been off the ground

Gave the RE a bath, pollen is terrible this year and everything gets a coat of green dust which really looks like snot on Sinamon Stick. The dog kept coming by asking me to throw the ball, which I did several times. Then I took her to the backyard for some Golden maintainence, I think I got about half the loose feathers. (She does not shed fur, she shed clumps of fur we call feathers.) They are wonderful beings and well worth the effort!

The good news: I finally figured out how to get the oil temp to reach 213 degrees. All it seems to take (at 72 ambient) is to end up in traffic. Which I finally did, due to roadwork, in Colorado today.

The kinda sad news: Had half a tank when leaving this morning, and knew I'd have to fill it up before coming home.
Filled it, entered the data in the log book and noticed that the prior fill-up was on 5-27....22.

Felt bad enough that I treated it to fresh fluid in the diff after getting home. But it's by far my favorite car - I really should drive it more.
