Was that an end user putting it on scales or Dodge number? If so wonder where the extra is coming from on the 170? They even removed the sound insulation!
Steven Ripa's170 was his scales. I like the idea of a factory light weight. Would be a great car to have for just racing if you could and have a fully loaded Hellcat for a daily

This one needs to have the black hood scoop to break up all the green

Ron told me tonight there are 2 more built; total of 36 so far, including mine and his.
Yep, 36 built as of today...out of 2044 D170s built so far...

36/2044 = 1.76% take rate....

1.76% x 3326 Demon 170s to be produced = ~59 one-seat D170s once all is said and done.

Obviously a linear extrapolation, but it probably will be +- around 60 made....

Not sure Ron is posting over here, but I saw he took one of his 170s to the 1/8 mile track. Traction issues but trapped over 118MPH which is pretty fast. My car trapped 112-113 when it ran 9.60s.

Not sure Ron is posting over here, but I saw he took one of his 170s to the 1/8 mile track. Traction issues but trapped over 118MPH which is pretty fast. My car trapped 112-113 when it ran 9.60s.
I don t think he has his 500 miles yet either to play with the modified Trans break

He said he tried the trans brake and the C power setting and it hooked but was slow off the line then blew the tires off once power came in.

He said he used the "service brake" instead of the line lock for heating the tires. Not sure what that means.

I m pretty sure Ron likes the good old fashion foot brake

I m guessing that s what "service brake" means ?

I have a feeling these cars are going to hit the factory numbers easier then the 2018 model

Just saw a live Instagram video of Ron in a red 170 with his ONESEAT plate on it at Irwindale. Struck the tires and aborted the run. Last time I talked to him he was waiting on a 1 of 1 color. I can’t imagine he has two. If anybody is going to get one of these things on the track…. It will be him. 👍🏼

I will have to look at my records but my 9.1 was around that mph in the 1/8th. What was the time?

My 9.1 was 120 mph. I also have a 9.3 at 119 mph.
