Buyers have set what they will pay so not just the dealers fault. Still shocked so many are willing to do this on a 3000+ production car. 300 maybe but not 3000. I'm doing my part not over paying for one to help the prices come down;)

The rare CFW must have driven the cost up LOL

This Demon 170 was purchased new by the current owner in November 2023 and is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, a build sheet, two red keys, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a Michigan title.

To give you an idea of the cost for this car in Canada

Of the 326K we have to pay 20 percent luxury tax on a non commercial vehicle over 100K

FJT !!!

So 226 gets taxed at 20% = 271,200
271,200 plus the original 100K 371,200
Then we get taxed again on the total value of the car plus the luxury tax x 1.13 tax

$419,456

SUCK IT TRUDEAU ( he will )

BAT final price of 245k for a black 2 seat d170. As I said from day 1, BAT is the place for serious sellers. @Xylander fights me on this but here’s more proof. No sniping like eBay. No blenders for sale like eBay. no write your own bs ad like eBay. A truly global market car enthusiast site with millions of views and real bidders.

Because of these crazy prices, I will probably have a conflict with the dealer for the one I ordered (paper work and Dodge confirmation email states at or below MSRP).

I think that'll be fine. If dealer pulls any shenanigans I'm hearing SRT steps in.

I mean do you trust the dealer and someone you've worked with before or? If you have a POC order with your name on it I'd think you have some pretty good ground to stand on. Was the deal MSRP as stated on your paperwork or did they make you buy a ball cap for $10K or something? Not trying to get in your business but that's a tell IMO.

Documents submitted, as required by Dodge, stated MSRP, deposit provided.

I would sue them for breach of contract at least. You can probably add a couple more things to the list.

What's the deal you worked out with them when you gave the deposit? Saying it's MSRP or below on the order sheet was done (wink nod) with many people so that's probably not enough. It's between you and the dealership. Dodge won't help you is my guess on making them do the right thing. Dodge has shown over and over (and over again) that their real customer is the dealership not the "third party" customer.

I'm curious why you're getting nervous now. Have you been corresponding with the dealership over the past 9 months (getting updated POC, etc)? Are they suddenly acting weird?

If they are stand-up (or even semi-stand-up) there is no reason they should change the price on you. How many demons did they get and were the other ones supposed to be MSRP also?

Well, the way that reads if it was "just" documents submitted there could be some cause for concern. If they'd commit fraud on the docs then obviously not very stand up.

Very good questions, I am getting nervous because I took the position that notarized statement that went to Dodge is the sales contract, now I am questioning what constitutes a sales contract. I will sort it out.

If I was as concerned as you seem to be, I would have a contract law attorney review it and if it will stick, have him do a flyby on them.
