Only sold for 400k for the pair in Scottsdale today. Not good.😳

There was a pair at Mecum that was a no sale at 370k. When you break either down both are good money. I saw 3 18's this week at BJ and the highest was 122k, much lower then what they were doing at Mecum

The average money for a 170 at auction has been 200k. Just because 2 are VIN matched (like many more) isn't going to magically bring 200k more like some of these people think

they sell a ton to normal people if they did make more and make sure you did not need 50 grand or more cash in hand just to pay the mark up.

Since the 18 was suppose to be 1 & done they needed a side gimmick

Take it
No added value for most as most cannot afford to buy these cars in pairs

Just watched the bidding from Saturday. The bid was 410k the 18 had 10 miles the 170 8 miles. He has another 170 coming. Not sure why he would be disappointed with that amount being he paid no where near that for both cars

It goes to; Why did you buy in the first place? Investment (to make money..) or for your own enjoyment? I have never bought a car for the investment - I just enjoy cars. If you sell for close or more than you have into them, good for you, but I don't look at cars as an investment and don't expect to make money on them in the long run. Especially after inflation and my time into them.

Goldberg should be happy with 410k for the pair - that's not too bad considering what others of both flavors have been going for. I guess the inflated ego got a little reality check? Maybe when his second 170 super-duper arrives it will provide some reassurance. WAAAAAAA
