Ya sorry we just made the change. There's really nothing wrong with what you have, though, we've been selling them for years.

I just found this thread and really don't have time to read the whole thing right now but just to answer some of the questions from the beginning of it. Yes torque management was on and has been on the entire time I was tuning this car and we literally put as much upshift pressure in this thing as we could and it still slipped. So either it was damaged on the previous setup and tuner or it just had a failure. These things happen when you add 200+hp to a trans that wasn't designed for it. I have seen a ton of 8 speed cars with 5th gear issues and almost every single aftermarket a8 I have dealt with has shifting issues and performs worse than stock. Some are worse than others. One builder being the absolute worst and has terrible customer service when his high dollar transmissions won't shift on command and have sloppy shifts. If this thing shifts on the track and demonstrates higher torque holding capacity, David and I may be doing a bunch more business together.

I thought the install of the injected engineering gashol system was super easy . It's a great system . I will only be running gasoline so this system will be all I ever need .

It is a great system. I helped develop and build it while I was there but they should have revised the kit by now to be plug and play and include a filter. I told Aric that a while back but they may be too busy to mess with it. I considered doing it myself but I didn't want to step on Injected's toes after leaving.

Sender card is either snagged or jacked though...I'll need to have it opened up and investigated. Performance-wise? No pressure drop at all. FIC1200's and a 2.5 pulley. Curt says 850-925whp. I believe it.

Sender card is either snagged or jacked though...I'll need to have it opened up and investigated. Performance-wise? No pressure drop at all. FIC1200's and a 2.5 pulley. Curt says 850-925whp. I believe it.

Fuel level messed up? I had to pull the pumps to re-tie the wires waayyy back, no issues since. I also put some gasoline / alcohol safe heat shrink over the fuel sender butt connectors to keep the longevity. I have the 274's in there. Once they ever get tired, I'll put 285's in their place.

Yup. Throws a code getting close to 1/4 tank (seems to stop reading there) and never reaches full (best case 7/8) but this car has dead repeatable mileage on the highway so I can make do until either it pisses me off enough or I take it down to curt & crew at Zen.

The trans brake in the demon is done through the ecu/bcm (software) but as far as I know no one has enabled it yet in any Tuning software .
I believe it's in the BCM . I wonder is Zautomotive can see it as his stuff is all BCM related . ( I think)

It would be nice to have that option. It seems to be mixed reviews with demon owners . But I wouldn't mind trying it .

yea pump needs to come out. Zip tie the pump wires way back from the float.

I sell the tapped one now because it's plug and play and includes a filter. Had a lot of customers mess up installs on the injected kit because of the splicing needed. The injected one does now include the 285 pumps though just fyi.
