Who has done a RE Stage 2?

I may be the reason this sub-forum was created. I installed a Stage 2 and was unhappy that I could not find "885" displayed anywhere and wanted to know what others had experienced. On the "other" forum, S2 info was spread all over the place and the search engines are not the best so I asked one of our favorite moderators to create a "Stage" forum to get the info all in one place. Apparently the powers that be decided it was too specific and came up with the DC category, in both forums.

So:

1. Who has installed the S2?

and

2. Does anyone know if there is a way to get "885" displayed?

I called DC and they said the HP is displayed in the remote, but I sure can't find it. They said it is 885 as long as it accepts 100 octane mode.

If you select 885 on the dash display, it gives a pop-up.

It feels like they didn't finish the software to complete the process to display 885! Grrrr! :mad:

is this stage 2 a beta version? or have they just not updated the catalog?
Was the center stack replaced as part of this? if yes, pressing the HO button on the center stack [looks like a fuel pump] should do the trick. If no, then perhaps your remote needs a reboot/reset, or disconnect/reconnect

March 2024 install. I'm guessing they told the software writers "good enough", stop working, you're fired. Stellantis disappoints yet again...

found the kit. looks like they did update the catalog. pn: 77072583AB damn expensive for just the hellraiser pulley

reading through the instructions, looks like if the tech didn't update the security module first, it'd cause an issue with functionality. may need to have them reload the software [in the correct order], if that's possible

but, I'm guessing it's more likely someone forgot to include the Demon center stack as part of the kit, or additional required parts list, since it's what the popup is directing you to. maybe it's included in the Stage III that's on the updated chart

or. as you say, fired the software folks before the job was finished, in typical stealantis fashion

The tech uploads the software after install, I have to assume that whatever they upload is the latest version? And the phone call with DC customer service confirmed that the dash will not display the 885 because the remote takes over the system, or something like that. :mad:

My old RE read 950 hp after my old tuner tuned it. Said it right on my screen. He was able to change it thru the HP software and had nothing to do with DC.

Sounds a lot like what AJ was doing with his HO kit long before the DC stuff. It needed a special tazer to work. Also a BCM and the center stack or aux buttons.

the flex fuel sensor appears to just ve pinned directly into the PCM. No canbus signal. Pins 68 59 and 67 on connector 2

That's the good part! The bad part is that it still has pages for engine tune and trans tune that appear ligit but are non-functional! Not sure why they didn't disable non-functional pages, either they hoped to expand in the future, or they were too lazy? But if the S2 performs as well as I have heard, it'll all be worthwhile!

I'm doing the 1.5mi at Loring in July, and I'll be at the dragway as soon as weather cooperates.

Stay tuned! Same Cat Time! Same Cat Channel!!! :ROFLMAO:

I have only seen a few limited results posts on fakebook and the gains seem pretty minimal to me? What have you been seeing/hearing???

On the "bad" forum, one guy got into the 9's, though he was 10.3 before. Another guy did 190 in the Texas 1-mile using Boostane. That should translate easily into 200 in the 1.5 in Moosebutt ME with MS109! That's my goal! But we'll see....

(I'll bring a can of Boostane for luck anyway!)
