Some quick background: I sold my SS several weeks ago and bought a '19 Scat Pack as it's place holder until I decide what(if..) I'm going to replace it with. Nice car, 50k miles, clean CarFax.
The other day the granddaughter and I make a quick run to the store in it. When I get there I realize I have no key fob with me to lock the doors. So we go in and do our thing and when we come out to head back home it fires right up again and off we go. No issues, no buzzers, no "fob not present" warnings at all.
So my question is how is this possible? I would have never guessed that there even was a way to bypass the fob, let alone that I would actually end up owning a car that's this way.
Anyone got any experience with this?
